Money Matters

School Meals and Pupil Premium

Our school meals are provided by Lataca Ltd and all ordering and payments are made direct to them.

All our KS1 children are entitled to free lunches under the government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals programme. Some families may be entitled to Free School Meals (FSM). Registering your child for FSM means that your child is entitled to a free lunch every day and that Rowde Primary Academy will also receive extra funding as a result.

Check if you qualify

Please visit the link below to see if you could qualify for FSM.

School trips and residential visits

From time to time during the school year, school trips are arranged to enhance learning. Some of these trips are chargeable and parents/carers may be asked to contribute to the cost. Unfortunately, if we do not receive enough voluntary contributions it could jeopardise the viability a trip.  No pupil will be excluded from a trip due to financial constraints and if you have any concerns overpayment please do not hesitate to contact the School Business Manager either in person or by email.

Residential visits for upper KS2 children take place each year. There may be financial assistance for families who qualify for FSM (please see above). Again, please contact the School Business Manager for more information.

You can pay by cash or cheque at the office, or by bank transfer – please ask for details.

Music lessons

We have external providers for lessons in piano, brass, woodwind, guitar and drums. Payment for lessons is invoiced and made direct to the music teacher.

Breakfast Club and Rascals

Attendance at Breakfast Club and Rascals is paid for in advance. Please pay by cash or cheque at the office, or by BACS – details are on each invoice.
